t was a joy to hear from all the PRSSA Chapters that are maintaining, excelling in, or starting student-run public relations firms at National Conference. Even before Conference, I have been receiving emails from Chapters across the nation with questions about starting or improving their firms. You all are truly taking your PRSSA membership to its full potential- and it is a pleasure to watch.
At National Conference, members from Ball State University, Central Michigan University and University of Florida shared their firm experiences and provided insightful feedback to Chapters looking to start or improve their firms (and the eventual applying to be nationally affiliated, of course). And a big thanks to the panelists for helping out!
But now I want to open this discussion to all: what are some of the issues your student-run firm is currently facing? How can PRSSA and its members help? Or, what are some of your firms best practices? And how can other firms implement these practices?
