Utah State University invites you to join in as they explore how to adapt public relations techniques to various professions and company practices at the Mountain West Regional Activity, March 25–26.
This year’s theme, “Putting the PR in Professional,” will show you how applicable and necessary public relations skills are in any profession or industry. This conference will allow you to better yourself as a communicator and business leader, while learning how to adapt public relations practices to all industries of the professional world. The themes, speakers, workshops and activities will touch on various aspects of public relations such as event planning, relationships with marketers, media pitching, and public relations in athletics.
We’ve invited many experts in specialized fields to teach you the skills needed to succeed in such a diverse profession. We are thrilled to have two keynote speakers, Trina Patterson, senior manager of media relations for ATK, a premier aerospace and defense company, and Susan Walton, APR, a communications specialist at Brigham Young University with nearly 20 years of experience in Fortune 500 companies.
