I was looking for colleges and such and my main focus to to major in marketing and minor in communications. There are many instances where I can’t find a college with both Marketing and Communications. Although, there are some that have a minor in sociology. I looked up online at wetfeet.com that you can be a Public Relations Staffer. What is that? My mother took a guess and believed it to be a person who works under a PR. Is that true? If so, I would want to start with that, correct? If so, could I go for a sociology degree and still manage to be my own PR? Or should I be only looking for colleges with communication minors?
If you want to talk further about what public relations is and how it combines the skills of marketing and communications, I would be glad to chat with you! You can email me at emfinky@gmail.com.
