Session: How to Write a Killer Job Application
Presenter: Danny Rubin, vice president, Rubin Communications Group
Recap: In this session, we learned ways to make ourselves look better to employers when submitting a job application, cover letter, etc. The session was informative, interesting and engaging, and provided lots of great tips and tricks. Rubin told us about how he began his career and how he got to where he is now. He also reminded us to constantly take things in and learn — no matter where we are. He gave us plenty of great ideas for making ourselves stand out on paper to companies and businesses.
Rubin talked about how he helps students and what he looks for on job applications. He also shared a few stories about people he’s encountered. He stressed the importance of being clear and direct in a job application to make yourself stand out to the employer.
