Universidad Argentina de la Empresa’s PRSSA Chapter is very excited to announce that we will be hosting our virtual District Conference, PR Stages. It will take place from March 2–4 virtually on Zoom. There is no cost to register for this Conference so you will not want to miss this opportunity.

  1. How did you arrive at your conference theme and what can members expect to see at this conference?

We arrived at our Conference theme by reflecting on the evolution of public relations, and our desire to know more about the past, present and future of the discipline.

At this three-day Conference, guests will get to boost their knowledge, network with people from around the world and share experiences with professionals and students. The Conference will be divided into three stages, and each of them will cover different topics, such as case studies, D&I, corporate leadership, CSR and personal brand.

  1. Tell me about the speaker/session that excites you the most. Why should members tune in for this?

On day 2 of the conference, there will be a panel focused on women and leadership. One of the speakers is Patricia Jebsen, Beat’s General Manager. Beat is a company that operates a taxi and ride-hailing mobile app for smartphones and other mobile devices. Patricia will be talking about the changes that Beat has faced due to the pandemic and the advances in technology. She will analyze the consequent challenges of leading a team. Being a good leader and being able to adapt to changes is essential. Patricia is a great leader, and we can all learn a lot from her.

  1. Do you have any planned networking events? How will your conference allow members to connect?

Attendees will get the chance to ask questions at the end of every presentation. Speakers also agreed to network, answer any questions and connect with our attendees on social media. There will be optional 30-minute networking sessions throughout the Conference days where attendees will be able to get to know each other and talk about the sessions.

  1. How can members make the most of their conference experience?

Currently, students can make the most out of the PR Stages experience by following us on Instagram and LinkedIn where we will be sharing any further updates and higlighting our speakers. Different challenges and games will be posted, allowing attendees to interact and get prepared for the Conference. More information can also be found on our website.
