It can uplift us when we\u2019re sad, motivate us during our workout and simply make us feel good. People have playlists for just about every occasion: road trip, gym, homework and, of course, the weekend. But have you ever thought about what your <em>work<\/em> playlist would consist of? Well, I sure have! Here are 10 songs that I feel every public relations professional should add to their work week playlist.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hnjeMwxFuBA\">\u201c<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hnjeMwxFuBA\"><em>Breathe<\/em><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hnjeMwxFuBA\">\u201d by Jonny Diaz<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAlarm clock screaming bare feet hit the floor, yeah, it\u2019s off to the races everybody out the door. I\u2019m feeling like I\u2019m falling behind, it\u2019s a crazy life. Ninety miles an hour going fast as I can, trying to push a little harder trying to get the upper hand. So much to do in so little time, it\u2019s a crazy life. It\u2019s ready, set, go, it\u2019s another wild day. When the stress is on the rise in my heart I feel you say, \u201cjust breathe.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>As PR professionals our days are go, go, go. You may feel as if you\u2019re falling behind \u2014 that there simply isn\u2019t enough time in the day and you\u2019re overwhelmed to the point of a breakdown. When your stress meter is rising, just breathe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=emGri7i8Y2Y\">\u201c<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=emGri7i8Y2Y\"><em>In too Deep<\/em><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=emGri7i8Y2Y\">\u201d by Sum 41<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cCause I\u2019m in too deep, and I\u2019m trying to keep up above in my head, instead of going under cause I\u2019m in too deep. \u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You stare at your desk while the phone rings off the hook and you can see that your boss is heading your way. He gives you another assignment as you think about the three other things you have yet to complete and you begin to think you\u2019re in way too deep. Don\u2019t fret, you can handle more than you think you can. You walked across the stage and you got that degree, now it\u2019s time for the real world. After you crushed your interview and played the waiting game, you receive the call from your dream job.
