Lucky for attendees, the venue for the Conference, the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/prssa.prsa.org\/events\/Conference\/Hotel_Travel\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boston Park Plaza<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, is located in the center of the city, so some the city\u2019s most popular attractions are within walking distance. Below is a list of 11 exciting activities walking distance from the Boston Park Plaza to help you make the most of your Conference experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/3\/embed?mid=18TGwDIu5gg9Tjtzvbat1f5OXb74\" width=\"451\" height=\"451\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><b> The Boston Common and Public Garden<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Boston Common and Public Garden are two of Boston\u2019s largest green spaces. They are great scenic spots for running, walking or simply enjoying the day. The Boston Public Garden is home to the bench featured in the film \u201cGood Will Hunting,\u201d the Make Way for Ducklings sculpture, and the George Washington statue, which was the inspiration for the Conference logo.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><b> Newbury Street<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Newbury Street is Boston\u2019s famed lane of high-end shops. From stores like Dolce &amp; Gabbana to H&amp;M, you can browse or buy almost anything your heart desires. Newbury Street also has a number of delicious spots to grab a bite to eat, such as <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/tridentbookscafe.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trident Booksellers and Cafe<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is a book shop that doubles as an eatery.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><b> The Start of the Freedom Trail<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Founded in 1630, Boston is one of America\u2019s oldest cities. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefreedomtrail.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Freedom Trail<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a 2.5 mile walking tour along a red brick trail marked on the sidewalk that takes you to 16 of Boston\u2019s most historic spots including the Old State House and the Paul Revere House. <\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><b> Downtown Crossing<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Downtown Crossing is home to Boston\u2019s theater district as well as some of its best shopping. It is also a hub for Boston\u2019s nightlife.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><b> The Museum of Fine Arts<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Museum of Fine Arts is one of Boston\u2019s largest museums. It has a number of different collections and exhibitions that you can see for free with a student ID.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><b> Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall were historically used as meeting places for discussion and trade. Now, they are a place to meet and have a quick meal. Quincy Market is a hall lined with food on either side and Faneuil Hall has stalls showcasing all of the sweets and Boston gear you can imagine.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><b> The North End<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The North End is Boston\u2019s Italian District. You will find some of the best Italian food in the city here. Stop by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mikespastry.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mike\u2019s Pastry<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to get a cannoli the size of your face or <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ernestosnorthend.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ernesto\u2019s Pizzeria<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for a slice of pizza.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li><b> Copley Square<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From Copley Square, you can access the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.200clarendon.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">John Hancock Building<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trinitychurchboston.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trinity Church<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bpl.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boston Public Library<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It\u2019s also just steps away from the Boston Marathon Finish Line.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"9\">\n<li><b> The Esplanade<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Esplanade is a scenic path that runs along a portion of the Charles River. It is home to the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/hatchshell.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hatch Shell<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.community-boating.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Community Boathouse<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which will be open during the Conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"10\">\n<li><b> The Prudential Center<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of Boston\u2019s tallest buildings, the Prudential Center is the location of the Prudential Mall, which houses the Skywalk Observatory. <\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"11\">\n<li><b> Fenway Park<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fenway Park is home to the Boston Red Sox, Massachusetts\u2019s major league baseball team.
