You\u2019ve broken a sweat packing up your dorm or apartment and moving out. You\u2019ve said goodbye to your college friends for the summer, as everyone heads their own way for the next few months.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What\u2019s next for a savvy public relations student leader like yourself?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/prssa.prsa.org\/events\/Rally\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PRSSA Leadership Rally<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, of course!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the past two years, I\u2019ve been fortunate enough to attend this National event in Scottsdale, Arizona, and let me tell you \u2014 it is, in fact, the best. Or at least in my opinion, it is. Let me tell you three reasons why you\u2019ll want to be there this year:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">1. PRSSA National covers the hotel costs.<\/b><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6952\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6952\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/progressions.prsa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/giphy-11.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6952\" src=\"http:\/\/progressions.prsa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/giphy-11.gif\" alt=\"Courtesy of giphy.com.\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6952\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Courtesy of giphy.com.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">College kids love the word free, right? This is one opportunity that won\u2019t break the bank, since PRSSA National covers the hotel stay for all attendees, and there is no event registration fee. As long as you (or your Chapter) can pay for your flight to get to Phoenix, you\u2019re all set.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">2. Some of these new friends may become your lifelines for this next school year as you go through the roller coaster experience of being in the top leadership spots.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">3. The speakers, workshops and sessions will provide just the spark of passion you need to get a jump start on your PRSSA summer planning; on the other hand, the beautiful Chaparral Suites hotel will provide you with made-to-order breakfast, a daily reception that includes free drinks and snacks and the promise of being able to relax poolside during any downtime. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now that you\u2019ve wrapped up the school year, I hope to see you at my favorite summer kickoff \u2014 the PRSSA Leadership Rally.
