PRSSA National recently launched<\/a> a new and improved Internship Center website<\/a> for members and Affiliate members. The website interface was redesigned and simplified with the needs of PRSSA members in mind \u2013 finding internships has never been easier.<\/p>\n

Here are three features of the new Internship Center that will streamline your internship search.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Upload your r\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0in one file
\n<\/strong>The new Internship Center simplifies the process of uploading your r\u00e9sum\u00e9. Instead of filling out an embedded form with the information from your r\u00e9sum\u00e9, you can upload a r\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0as one single file (.txt, .doc, .docx or .pdf format). This means you can keep the formatting, typography and style exactly how you want employers to see it. You never know when employers may check the r\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0database on the Internship Center for new interns, so post yours today.<\/p>\n

Goodbye, Chapter login codes
\n<\/strong>You no longer need to have your Chapter\u2019s login code before creating an account and accessing the Internship Center. Now, all you need is your MyPRSA username and password to login. All current PRSSA members already have a MyPRSA account. To obtain your username and password, go to the MyPRSA login page<\/a> and click “Retrieve your login or password.”<\/p>\n

Search for internships by region
\n<\/strong>Target your search and use the new website to hunt for opportunities by region or metro area. This new feature of the Internship Center allows you to narrow in on the exact location that you\u2019d like to work. For example, if you want to intern in Washington, D.C., you can select the entire Alexandria, Arlington and Washington, D.C., metro area to avoid missing out on opportunities that are located just outside of the District\u2019s border.<\/p>\n

During college, it\u2019s essential to practice and improve the skills that you learn in class through internship experience, and the Internship Center can help make that happen. Visit the redesigned<\/a> website today.<\/p>\n
