Conference is a great time to get in touch with other members and bring information back to your Chapter to share best practices.<\/p>\n<p>There is one other thing PRSSA members are known for: coining hashtags on Twitter. Here are a few hashtags you can use to keep in the conversation:<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0#PRSSA: <\/span><\/strong><em><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Members across the nation, on Twitter, are connected by this hashtag. To save time, save the hashtag on your phone.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0#PRSSANC: <\/span><\/strong><em><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Each PRSSA National event has a designated hashtag. This hashtag is comprised of notes, quotes, opinions, guest speaker information, touring tips and a place to ask any questions you have during the duration of your stay at San Francisco. It could also include out-of-session things like amazing sites you see or funny things your roommates say. Remember, you do not want to be found guilty of slander and balance is the key to everything.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>3)<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0#PRSAICON: <\/span><\/strong><em><span style=\"color: #000080;\">This hashtag is used for the PRSA International Conference that occurs simultaneously with #PRSSANC. You are invited to use this hashtag during the General Sessions that we are invited to attend. You can also use this hashtag if you Instagram pictures taken at the International Conference.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0#PRSSAlove: <\/span><\/strong><em><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Many members use this hashtag when tweeting about your love, congratulations or admiration for public relations, PRSSA and PRSSA members.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Remember, you may use more than one of these hashtags in your tweets. I can\u2019t wait to meet and join in the conversation with you all. National Conference 2012 won\u2019t be forgotten easily, I promise you that.
