The Universidad Argentina de la Empresa Chapter of PRSSA is thrilled to announce its upcoming major event. On April 12, 2024, our District Conference \u2014 \u201cReady, Steady, RACE!\u201d \u2014 will unfold at the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) in a hybrid format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept behind the theme \u201cReady, Steady, RACE!\u201d holds a dual significance. On one hand, it acknowledges the translation of \u201cRACE\u201d into Spanish as carrera<\/em>, symbolizing a race or a competition. On the other hand, the acronym in English refers to the strategic communication process IPCE (investigation, planning, communication and evaluation) used in the field of public relations.<\/p>\n\n\n

Our theme encapsulates the spirit of readiness, adaptability and competition, which is essential in today\u2019s ever-evolving public relations landscape. Furthermore, we aim to underscore the importance of effectively implementing a strategic communications plan. In this way, we address not just the theoretical aspects covered in our academic program but also the practical experiences and individual growth journeys of each student, all within the context of today\u2019s rapidly changing environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this space, we aim to provide attendees with practical tools, networking opportunities, inspiring case studies and resources used by renowned professionals in the field. The goal of the conference is to bring together young students inteested in learning and entering the communications industry job market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReady, Steady, RACE!\u201d will be held in a hybrid format so that international and\/or external students to the university can also be a part of this unforgettable experience. In this way, students will have the option to attend the conference in person at the UADE\u2019s Aula Magna <\/em>or view it online. The event will be live-streamed on the @UADEstreaming<\/a> YouTube channel and will be available for later viewing. The event will take place from 12\u20136 p.m. (Argentina time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, the networking session is what excites me the most about our conference, as attendees will have the opportunity to interact with renowned communication agencies and professionals in the field. There will be booths from Feedback PR, Porter Novelli, Mosc\u00fa, Ketchum and more! Additionally, there will be booths for UADE HUB \u2014 a space that offers assistance services to entrepreneurs \u2014 and for our own PRSSA Chapter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2023 District Conference was an extremely enriching and inspiring experience. For a first-year student like me, who was just starting her academic journey and doubting her decision, the conference reinforced my idea that I was on the right path. This year, we aim to generate that same feeling in students. Last year\u2019s event was a resounding success, drawing over 300 attendees in a hybrid format, facilitating connections with seven agencies for student networking, featuring more than 15 specialized speakers and distributing over 200 CVs through the event\u2019s employment exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With \u201cReady, Steady, RACE!\u201d we aspire to achieve even greater results. Our sessions are divided into Research, Action & Communication, and Evaluation, featuring interactive panels and prizes. El Chapter UADE PRSSA se enorgullece de anunciar el gran evento que se aproxima. Este 12 de abril de 2024 nuestra District Conference \u2014 \u201cReady, Steady, RACE!\u201d \u2014 tendr\u00e1 lugar en la Universidad Argentina De la Empresa (UADE) bajo un formato h\u00edbrido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La idea del tema \u201cReady, Steady, RACE!\u201d nace con un doble significado. Por un lado, entendiendo que la traducci\u00f3n de \u201cRACE\u201d al espa\u00f1ol significa carrera. Por el otro, el acr\u00f3nimo en ingl\u00e9s hace referencia al proceso de comunicaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica IPCE (investigaci\u00f3n, planificaci\u00f3n, comunicaci\u00f3n y evaluaci\u00f3n) que se utiliza en el ejercicio de las relaciones p\u00fablicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuestra tem\u00e1tica encapsula el esp\u00edritu de preparaci\u00f3n, adaptabilidad y competencia, que es esencial en el entorno actual de las relaciones p\u00fablicas, el cual se encuentra en constante evoluci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, a trav\u00e9s de la misma buscamos demostrar la trascendencia de una implementaci\u00f3n efectiva de un plan estrat\u00e9gico de comunicaci\u00f3n. De esta forma, hacemos referencia no solamente a nuestros estudios universitarios, sino tambi\u00e9n al recorrido profesional y personal de cada uno de nosotros, teniendo en cuenta el contexto tan cambiante que atravesamos hoy en d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En este espacio, buscamos brindar a los asistentes herramientas pr\u00e1cticas, posibilidades de networking, casos de estudio inspiradores y recursos utilizados por profesionales reconocidos en el \u00e1mbito. El objetivo de la conferencia es reunir a j\u00f3venes estudiantes interesados en aprender e insertarse en el mercado laboral de la industria de las comunicaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReady, Steady, RACE!\u201d se llevar\u00e1 a cabo bajo un formato h\u00edbrido para que estudiantes internacionales y\/o externos a la universidad tambi\u00e9n puedan ser parte de esta experiencia inolvidable. De este modo, quienes quieran podr\u00e1n asistir al evento de forma presencial en el Aula Magna de la UADE. Por otro lado, el evento tambi\u00e9n se transmitir\u00e1 en vivo en el canal de Youtube @UADEstreaming<\/a>, adem\u00e1s de quedar guardado para quienes deseen verlo en otro momento. La conferencia se realizar\u00e1 en el horario de 12 a 6 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En lo personal, el espacio de networking es lo que m\u00e1s me emociona acerca de nuestra conferencia, ya que todas las personas que asistan al evento tendr\u00e1n la oportunidad de interactuar con reconocidas agencias de comunicaci\u00f3n y profesionales destacados en el \u00e1rea. Habr\u00e1 stands de Feedback PR, Porter Novelli, Mosc\u00fa, Ketchum, \u00a1y m\u00e1s! Por otro lado, se encontrar\u00e1 el stand de UADE HUB \u2014 un espacio que ofrece servicios de ayuda a emprendedores \u2014 y el del Chapter UADE PRSSA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La District Conference de 2023 fue una experiencia sumamente enriquecedora e inspiradora. Para una estudiante de primer a\u00f1o como yo, que reci\u00e9n comenzaba la carrera y dudaba de su decisi\u00f3n, la conferencia reforz\u00f3 mi idea de que estaba siguiendo el camino correcto. Este 2024, buscamos generar esa misma sensaci\u00f3n en los estudiantes. El evento del pasado a\u00f1o fue un caso de \u00e9xito, siendo que alcanz\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 300 asistentes en modalidad h\u00edbrida, siete agencias contactadas para networking de alumnos, m\u00e1s de 15 speakers especializados, y m\u00e1s de 200 CVs distribuidos por la bolsa de empleo del evento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con \u201cReady, Steady, RACE!\u201d aspiramos a llegar a incluso mayores resultados. Nuestros paneles se dividen en Research, Action & Communication y Evaluation, los cuales tendr\u00e1n paneles interactivos y premios.
