The W.P. Ehling Chapter of PRSSA at Syracuse University is proud to host the 2023 Northeast District Conference. \u201cThe Greatest of All Time: PR\u2019s New Generation\u201d will take place in person on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We propose that the year 2023 will carry on the number 23 as a celebrated figure, marking the dawning of the greatest era of public relations we have seen. The past few years have presented historic challenges, but behind every obstacle is an opportunity to grow. Emerging from this difficult period, public relations practitioners \u2014 veteran, contemporary and prospective \u2014 have a plethora of new tools and perspectives at their disposal to enable them to take the industry to unforeseen heights. Through a lineup of renowned public relations professionals \u2014 including keynote speaker Jessica Fine, associate vice president of global communications at Merck \u2014 our theme for this year\u2019s conference showcases how public relations practitioners have successfully translated these struggles and lessons into a \u201cnew normal\u201d mindset within the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At our Friday morning opening breakfast, attendees will have the opportunity to meet, mingle with, and enjoy a breakfast while listening to our opening keynote speaker. Afterward, attendees will have a variety of breakout sessions to choose from, followed by a lunch with a second keynote speaker and more breakout sessions. The day will conclude with a networking event with peers from different universities, professional attendees, and our sponsors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
