As an organization with more than 10,000 members and more than 40 years history, PRSSA offers countless benefits and resources, some that members may not fully know or understand. If you have a PRSSA question, below are four ways you can find the answer:<\/p>\n

Ask Chapter Leaders First <\/strong><\/h5>\n

Whether you are a returning or new member of PRSSA, your Chapter should be your first source for information. Connect with your executive board and ask them any questions you may have about PRSSA. Each Chapter is also equipped with both a Faculty and a Professional Adviser who can also address any questions or concerns you may have.<\/p>\n

Go to Events and Take Notes<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Whether they be National, Regional or Chapter events, valuable information can also be found at PRSSA activities. Attending PRSSA events can provide you and other members the opportunity to learn about resources to share with your Chapter. Additionally, attending national events can also help your Chapter meet the requirements for the Star Chapter<\/a> Award. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Connect with the National Committee<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The National Committee exists for a reason, and that reason is you! We want to help you get all you can from PRSSA. All of the work the National Committee<\/a> does is with that intention in mind. Most resources and information is covered under one of the National Committee positions \u2013 check the \u2018Contact Us\u2019 section of the PRSSA website<\/a> to see who is responsible for what initiatives and topics. Email us, tweet us or call us; we want to help you. You can also connect with PRSSA Headquarters<\/a> for more information. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Use the Find Tool on <\/strong>PRSSA.org<\/strong><\/a><\/h5>\n

The find tool on the PRSSA website is my favorite \u2013 it has yet to fail me. Anytime I have a question PRSSA related, I type the term in the search box and find multiple pages relating to that topic. You can also use it to look up the current National Committee members and their contact information, along with information regarding upcoming PRSSA events.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s up to you <\/strong>to make the most of your membership. If you are unsure of what something is or how it works, don\u2019t ignore it \u00ad\u2013 use your resources to find the answer. <\/strong><\/p>\n
